Europe Banning Bulbs

First it was California, then the Aussies, now the entire continent of Europe has turned their backs on the incandescent light bulb. According to this Associated Press article, the world's three largest bulb makers will entice Europeans to make the switch to the miraculous fluorescent light bulb. I'm sure regulations will follow

I have gone on and on about the benefits of fluorescent lights. How they last 5 years! How they are reasonably priced. How they save you tons of money in utility prices over their life span. How easy they are to twist right into existing sockets. And how just one in every American household would be equivalent to taking 1 million cars off the road. So why haven't you filled your house with these things yet?
