Cultural Tourism DC is hosting over 80 walking and biking tours around DC this coming weekend. The tours cover a range of topics from Spies of Georgetown to Gay Capital Hill. One tour that caught my interest was a bike tour of Anacostia that highlighted environmentally friendly activities happening in Anacostia and environmental challenges the community faces.
The bike tour runs from 9 AM to 2 PM. Participants should meet at the Starbucks at 200 M Street, SE across from the Navy Yard Metro Station. The ride is sponsored by Wholeness for Humanity and reservations are required. You can make your reservation by going HERE.
