Gold Miners Destroying the Amazon

I read this article about gold miners destroying the Amazon in Brazil and I had to let you know about it. Before I paste the link for the story below, I want to invite you to suggest ways to stop this destruction. One of the hardest things to do is sit and watch as your world is torn apart by someone else's irresponsibility. I don't like complaining without offering solutions. Got any ideas? Maybe we could ask our gold sellers to verify that the gold we're buying isn't coming from this part of Brazil. This has to stop now.
