McCain Concerned About Gas and Vilsack is Out

Former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack is OUT. He has officially dropped from the Democratic primary race for the 2008 presidency. He has cited lack of campaign funding as his reason for dropping out.

See here... http://greenpieceblog.blogspot.com/2007/02/2008-candidates-and-environment-update.html for the latest information on his environmental platform as described on his website. I'm sure he will be working with the other major candidates to keep these issues on the table. Here is the New York Times article on his withdrawal... http://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/23/us/politics/23cnd-vilsack.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin

John McCain is still hangingout in California. The most significant thing about his time in that state is his close relationship with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Some of you may know that Arnold has highlighted the need for reduction in greenhouse gases and increase in renewable energy source. According to McCain, these issues are going to play a major role in the upcoming election. Lets hope he is right
